Today is New Years Eve and it’s a time people make resolutions to lose weight or stop drinking or in someway do better for themselves and while that is all good today we are going to delve into the scriptures to explore the choice between selflessness and selfishness. Let us turn to Philippians 2:3-4, where the apostle Paul implores us, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.
