No! No it isn’t! As a Christian Christmas should never be over and we should celebrate it year round. If we treated everyday like Christmas…oh what a wonderful world it would be. Do you know what the greatest verse in the whole Bible is for a Christian? For the whole world?
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16 NIV
And that’s what Christmas celebrates. The birth of Jesus. Without that nothing else would matter! We should celebrate His birth everyday because He paid a debt that we could have never paid. His birth and death opened a door that never could have been opened otherwise. It allowed us to have eternal hope and to be able to look forward to one day living eternity in His presence.
For this I say…Christmas is never over.
